I think it’s a great idea, never too late! I did one for a birthday present before our wedding, and I’m so glad I did. I’m now pregnant and so my body is completely different, I’m glad he has those pictures to remember my normal body!

I think over 50% of the bees are now doing them. Yeah I think that would be a great idea to do it for yalls one year!

Do it!  I wanted to do them for our one year but I didn’t make it happen.  Now I’m hoping to do them for our second.  Fingers crossed!  πŸ™‚

I did it and I LOVE them. I specifically asked for it to be more “classy” and not on the “skanky” side –if you know what I mean. They came out great. I ordered a book and I’m giving it to my fiance on our wedding day. I felt like it wasn’t enough of a gift. He leaves his change laying around the house all the time, so I went to a pottery place and painted a change jar for him too! I know it’s not anything dramatic, but it’s an on going joke between us. πŸ™‚

I’ve told myself I’m going to make this an annual event (wedding anniversary thing).  And, it’s not really for him, it’s for me.  Motivation to stay in shape and also a way to document my awesomeness πŸ™‚  haha

@PrncssDva: you should TOTALLY go for it – but, I would go into it as a gift for yourself.  I think that takes a lot of the pressure off and will ultimately produce amazing pictures!

I just did one actually, and I will be giving it to Darling Husband as a one year anniversary present πŸ™‚ I also wanted pictures like the ones you described–classy sexy, not skanky porn star sexy. Check out the website of the photographer I used–I think she has lots of good inspiration pics!

I think it’s a great idea. I would love to do one as wedding gift to my husband. It’s just got so crazy with house renovations and wedding planning i might hold off and just do it after the wedding and give him a late gift.

I did them as a wedding present for hubby, then made a book out of them as part of his christmas gift! He loved it! I wasn’t quite where I wanted to be yet in terms of fitness, but the photog was booking up fast… she did a great job of minimizing my “problem areas” and the final product was great!

@PrncssDva: What does that price include? I paid more than that, but I also got an 8x 8 book with about 20 photos, and it also included the fact that we shot in a hotel room, and her travel fee. I’ve definitely seen people use their veil and garter…usually I think I’ve seen it when brides do it as a wedding gift before theyr’e married, but there’s no reason that you can’t use them even though you are already married! It’s another excuse to put your veil on πŸ™‚ I also did use my wedding shoes, mainly because I love them so much, lol.
