So, no offense to anyone, but I never really understood the boudoir thing. Like, what do you do with it? Isn’t it awkward? But the more and more I think about it, the more I like the idea. I’m a pretty modest girl, and I have a lot of body image issues. However, I LOVE my photographer. She’s the kind of person that I just instantly felt like could be my friend, and she did the best e-pics. We had so much fun doing our pictures, so I feel like I wouldn’t be totally uncomfortable. After the e-pics, Fiance said that one where I had a sort of smoldering expression was “so sexy.” And I know he’d appreciate that. He’s also incredibly hard to buy for. He doesn’t like “stuff.” I was thinking about buying an unconventional gift (he wants a gaming system and I like for him to have stuff like that to blow steam after stressful days at work) and a collection of journals I’ve put together throughout our engagement. But now I’m thinking that he’d looooove the pictures and it would be so out of character for me that it would be such an act of love! We’ve waited to have sex, so I feel like it would be something really special for the start of our married lives together, and maybe get me a little more comfortable about my body. Can anyone tell me about their experiences and whether their groom liked it? Also…my family and his would find it strange, so how do you give it as a gift?! Seriously, it would be scandalous in our conservative families, but I think it would be special for him!
