That sucks! I can’t believe there is even an option to have the bride and groom pick up their gift at the store.  I would call or go back to the store and ask to speak to the manager.  If the website is confusing this can’t be the first time this has happened.  You paid for the item and they should release it to you.

I agree about speaking to a manager.  Maybe there’s a way to “return” it and then re-purchase it the correct way.
