- Wedding: November 2014
I did not enjoy dress shopping at all! Every dress was very pretty, but it always seemed to be missing something. I also didn’t want to spend a ton of money on the dress. It seemed all the dresses I loved were not carried in stores or at the top of my budget and would not leave anymore money for accessories and alterations.
I also didn’t like the fact that when I finally found my dress, I would have to wait months for my dress to come in. That just seems like too much stress! Plus my Fiance is in the military and there is always the chance that something would happen and we would have to move the date in either direction. So I wanted to be able to have the dress in hand and not have any worries.
I found a beautiful dress on preownedweddingdress.com! It was a discontinued David Tueterra for Mon Cheri. I saw it and fell in love! It was everything I had envisioned in my dress! And it was under $300 including shipping! I searched everywhere online, and this seems to be the last one! I bought it yesterday and it should be delivered on Tuesday! I can’t wait to try it on!
And as for wanting to have the dress in hand, my Fiance and I decided to move our date from April 2015 to November 2014! The military was not a factor in this decision, it just seemed to be better for us. So now I am so happy I jumped on this opportunity and didn’t wait around to find something new.
