I look through them with the SO, who hasn’t proposed and is unsure about that but strangely is fine with looking through magazines.

@countrygirl12:  Oh, I don’t have that one. Guess I’m heading out to Wal*Mart soon! I bought The Knot at $10. I won’t go over that. πŸ™‚

I really want to buy one.  Everytime I’m in the store I’m so tempted.  But I promised myself I would wait until I am engaged.  Trust me though when ever we get engaged we will probably have to make a stop on the way home so I can pick one up.  Only around 3 more months!

My mom bought me a subscription to Bridal Mag to be delivered to her job, So no one I know can see it. DEEP Undercover. I picked up Engagement 101 (everthing you need to know BEFORE you get engaged) in March right before hopping on a flight at the airport.

I will not buy a BRIDAL mag until I have a Fiance.

In June when we went so I can meet his family I was tempted to get one while with my SO at the Walmart, but I thought better and picked up an Allure mag insted.

Until then I am satisfied with everything online….until my mom gets the first mag delivered to her job.

The engagement one seems really interesting. What kinds of things are in it?

@EvenAngelsFall:  It was a great jumping point for conversation with my SO and I about the kind of ring he and I would like.

It had great proposal stories,

the gowns for 2012

Some rings and their designers

different styles or wedding bands and how to swich up the style of yor Engagement Ring

a section Just for men on e-ring education and how to pop the question

and check list on how to know you are ready to take that step with your SO and if you, him and both of you together are ready for that step.

It was a great tip off point. and I left it on the coffee table. He saw me leefing through it a few months ago and said “What cha looking at?”, So I showed him the men’s ring styles and asked what kind of band would he like.

I have a stack of I think 4 or 5 bridal magazines on our coffee table. My friend came over and dropped some off since we’re busy planning her wedding for next year, but I like to keep them there as an AHEM. STILL WAITING. sort of sign. Sealed

I haven’t bought any bridal magazines, but I have wedding planning books. One of them was bought by my SO. When we go to Barnes & Noble, I look through bridal magazine with no shame. He doesn’t make me feel bad about it; he encourages me! He’s just as excited to get married to me as I am to him!
