Pictures! And my piece of advice, you won’t feel good about your decision until you know for sure, however, I’m assuming if you purchased your dress at a sample sale it’s not returnable so… make sure you can afford to purchase the second dress even if you can return the first one!

If your dress was cheap enough for you to be ok with not using then you can by all means get another one. Or other options:

1. Wear different dresses. One for Ceremony. One for reception.

2. Sell the one you have

3. Rent a dress – this option is just to say if you find a rental shop that is cheap enough that may have something else you love, why not?

But it sounds like you like the one you bought enough, otherwise you would not have bought it. If you went and tried on another dress that you like more and regret not getting it then you can do the other options I suggested. Personally I bought a really cheap wedding dress too and went on to try other dresses after. I love the one I bought but I do not mind getting a different one if I so happen to come across one I love even more.

Good luck.

It depends. Why didn’t you try the one on? Did they not have it or was it out of your budget? If it was out of your budget, don’t go try it on. If the store just didn’t have it, and you can afford to purchase it, then yes, go try it on. Make sure you can sell your dress first!
