Time to lose weight.
Biggest obstacle is that in the country where I live, it’s considered a huge faux pas to not eat lunch with the other teachers every day, and “lunch” means tons and tons of RICE which is like the quickest way for me to put on fat. I need to start skipping work lunches more often and damn the consequences. I won’t kill my chances at weight loss just to be polite.
Second biggest is I hate exercise and running makes my IBS worse, but I want to try and get out for a little jog or something with my dog at least 3 times a week. Somehow I feel like I can go farther and longer more comfortably when I’m with him. I don’t get it at all but he motivates me. (Sometimes when it’s really cold I’ll literally run around the house with him haha)
Goal is to lose 15 pounds. Hoping to just reduce general intake, as well as massively reduce the % carbohydrates I take in, and at least SLIGHTLY raise my activity level. I don’t mind slow going as long as I see SOME progress and I don’t gain.
