Is anyone willing to sell their Galante after the wedding? I am a Jan 2011 bride looking to order my dress, but I would be just as happy with a used version as a new version. I am willing to send deposit and shipping asap!

Desperate to stay on budget,

Cheers

I bought mine as well without trying it on!! I was this close to buying the Galante as well but at the last minute changed to the Fresa from the 2011 season instead which is basically a strapless version of the Galante (as I am not blessed in the bust department) and I just hope that it looks good too!

I tried on every different part of the dress in different dresses, like the fluffy bottom, the sweetheart neckline and the fishtail style bottom, and separately they all looked good but I am just hoping and praying it looks good together, and on me.

For puertoricanbride, have a look on bridalgown.net as the Galante has gone down to 900USD now so hopefully it’s in your budget and then it’s new too!!

So I will be selling my dress after the wedding in March if anyone wants it haha!

I’ve attached a piccie of the Fresa below as it’s just so beautiful!

Good luck with your dress, it is such a beautiful dress I don’t think it could possibly look bad!

Me too! I saw your dress in person and the material is lovely. I am also a Pronovias bride (well, La Sposa – Laurel, their sister company). I also did a lot of research and looked at pics of the dress on real brides and made my decision on the. I tried on similar styles from San Patrick and Pronovias to make sure.

I am sure you will look amazing! Be sure to post pics when it comes in!

Hi girls,

I am having a destination wedding in Thailand yahoo! Anyway, I purchased the Prnovias Fresa from the 2011 collection, but unfortunately I ordered too late and aI leave next weekend and my dress didn’t arrive in time so I have had to purchase a new one!!

I am so in love with the Fresa and it is my dream dress, but unfortunately I have had to buy something off the rack as time was running out. My new one is a lovely dress but it certainly isn’t my Fresa.

So I just wanted to throw it out the there for anyone who wants to buy a brand new Pronovias Fresa from the 2011 Glamour Collection, I have a US size 4 for sale, never been worn 🙁

I hope it can make someone as happy as I wish it had made me… But in the end I am still marrying the man of my dreams on a tropical island, so this is not the worst that could have happened hey? (Maybe close tho hahaha!)…

Thanks and good luck to everyone, these dresses are incredible!

I did! Found my dress here on WB after seeing the recaps from another bee’s wedding and fell in love with the dress instantly.  It’s an “older” style so NONE of the bridal shops I called had it in stock.  I’m taking a gamble since it has a dropped waist and I’m really petite, but I had to have it.  I tried on a few dresses with the same style of bodice and loved them all, so hopefully I will love it too. I’m crossing my fingers, big time!!!
