I remember your previous post! I still love the Mia Solano (1st one). It’s flattering and when fitted properly gives you an amazing tiny waist (I tried it on haha). Did you actually try on any mermaids?
You could try to re-sell them however that is not always as easy as people think it will be and you will likely only recover half the money. I guess if you’re wealthy enough you could just go buy another one but I would try to reconcile myself to wearing them. I don’t LOVE the dress I bought but it’s very nice and will be lovely and buying another one is not an option, so I just have to close my mind to other possibilities and think of all the good things about my dress and accept that this is my dress. It’s just a dress and you will look lovely whatever you choose.
I just think the Mia Solano is so beautiful – pick than one lol!

Thanks for all your help ladies. I was going to try to have the Pallas one changed to a mermaid but maybe I’ll just take your advice and resign myself to one of them.
Im sure on the day it’s easy to feel beautiful with your hair and make up done 🙂

agree about the 2nd dress.

I like the Mia Solano better. I think it has a lot of potential to be an amazing dress on you, as long as it’s altered right for you. Looks like that one must be the sample you’re trying on, so it looks way too big.
But the dresses are soooo different in style, I really am curious about your actual wedding style.
Outdoors, whimsical, daylight hours? Definitely Mia Solano.
But if you’re having anything like an evening/hotel ballroom/uplit/jazzy party, then the 2nd seems more fitting for that atmosphere.

absolutely lovve the first dress. It is soo elegant and unique. The silohuette is classic and not as commonly seen as the mermaid style is right now. (Mermaid is gorgeous too though)

See I know what you’re all saying about the first one but that’s the size they ordered me and are saying that is it fitted properly, no alterations are being made.. it seems weird right? As I can totally see how it doesn’t look totally fitted.
Our wedding is black tie optional, it’s on a rooftop over looking Sydney Harbour so it is a bit more formal than not.

Oh ok, I thought it looked a bit big in the bust but it might just be the photo. If it seems not to fit you can totally take it to a different alterations place and have it made to fit like a glove. But it does already look beautiful.
