gemmabuzz :  Congrats on your find bee! I got my dream dress on Etsy for a fraction of what I would have spent in a bridal boutique, it was stunningly beautiful and fantastic quality. I hope you have a similar happy ending 🙂 make sure you post tons of photos when it arrives!

gemmabuzz :  I found my wedding dress online on eBay! The price was super cheap, as in under $100 kinda cheap. And it was gorgeous.

Congrats! I fell in love with a dress at a bridal salon, but, at $1,300, I knew I couldn’t afford it.

Then I found a similar dress on Tradesy for $200! After alterations, it cost me about $500 total.

gemmabuzz :  i had been obsessed with my dress for probably 3 years but I just couldn’t afford it. So I looked into having a replica made… didn’t sit well with me. So I was looking at alternative pink dresses… a lot I liked, nothing I loved. Then one night I randomly found -the- dress on thelastminutebride.com. right size, right colour, tags still on. For half of what it would cost me to buy in Australia. it arrived ands its PERFECT.

Yup. I’m a huge fan on secondhand. After a china dress disaster and with 2 weeks to go I got a dress from my favourite designer at less than 10% on ebay. Sold it on again too!

I actually wore an ivory bridesmaid dress that I had worn as bridesmaid a few years before. I just added a belt. Even the bride from that wedding didn’t realize it.

toffeeskies :  I eloped so she only saw it in photos. She probably would have noticed in person.

I didn’t necessarily save any money on it lol, but I ordered from BHLDN and the dress is perfect. I didn’t bother trying to go try it on, I knew it was the one so I ordered it. It came on time, looks right, no issues at all.

I bought my dress without seeing it in person first. It was from a online second hand wedding dress selling platform called ‘stillwhite’.

When it arrived it was perfect! Everything I had hoped!
