Hello Ladies, yesterday I posted a message asking for comments on 4 bouquets. After some thoughts, I have narrowed it down to 2 options. I would really appreciate it if you could give me your feedback. THANKS VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP INDEED!!!
I talked to my mom and we think that silk bouquet will be a better choice. The reasons are:
1. My fiance is allergic to some flowers (but don’t know which ones exactly)
2. The flowers I want are white and creamy, so fresh ones will turn yellow too fast
3. I want to keep the bouquet as a memorable souvenir
For your information:
– My wedding will be in Montreal, at Cathedrale Marie-Reine du Monde
– The wedding’s theme colour is silver & white
– My dress is Diamond White Private Label by G # 1395
– Cathedral veil Style #156 from Private Label by G
– Pearl necklace and bracelet with a Victoria style crystal brooch; simple pearl earrings
Option 1: Gardenia bouquet. It has been my dream bouquet for all time.
Options 2: White snowball hydrangeas and white twining flowers. The vines can be taken out if I want to.

Option 1! First off, I like it better. Second, you say it is your dream bouquet for all time – Get it!!

@Mrs.KMM: I know I said it is my dream bouquet, but no sure if it goes well with my dress. What do you think?

LOVE the gardenia’s!! Keep in mind that they are quite fragrant, if you are sensitive to certain smells.
P.S. Your gown is gorgeous!

@big_monchhichi: Honestly, I don’t think I could come up with any situation where a beautiful bouquet didn’t “go” with a beautiful dress. I think they’d look great together. (although I’d maybe make the ribbon on the stems in an accent color instead of white/ivory – just to break it up a bit and add a fun pop of color).

Love the gardenias. Go with that especially if it is your dream bouquet.
As far as allergies are concerned, most people who insist they are allergic to flowers are actually allergic to the pollen, which is removed from commercially grown flowers that you get from a professional florist or grocery store. I am horribly allergic to flowers cut from the garden but those same flowers at the grocery in a bouquet don’t bother me in the least. The reason is that you have to remove the pollen from the flowers and that’s impossible to do yourself.

Definitely the first bouquet. I think the feel of the gardenias will go very well with the elegance of your gown and venue. Plus, you said it’s your dream bouquet 🙂

Love the first bouquet it’s beautiful, plus it’s all your long time favourite.
For the 2nd one you said the vine can be removed – sorry I know I said in your other post I don’t like them, but the first one is so dreamy and will look gorgeous with your dress

Just keep in mind these are both delicate flowers.
I had a gardenia for my hair and the florist told me that gardenias bruise easily so be careful not to touch the petals while I was placing it or you’ll end up with brown spots. So you would have to be careful about setting down a gardenia bouquet.
As for hydrangeas I had some in my bouquet and in my bridesmaids bouquets (mixed with other flowers). We did photos before the wedding and it was a hot day and they looked pretty sad by the reception.
They both look gorgeous in these photos, but just something to keep in mind.

Oh I see. I wasn’t too sure, because last time my fiance and I bought some lilies for his mom, and afterwards, he was sneezing all the time. So, I am worried about that might happen again.

Thanks for all your positive comments! I think I will go with Option 1! 🙂

Oh my goodness, that first bouquet just took my breath away – I love it! Before I even finished reading the post, I saved the picture in my inspiration folder on my computer with the title LOVE IT! Clearly, I am voting for your first bouquet. Wow. Just wow.

I think #1 goes with your dress much better. You said you were doing silk, correct? There should be no worries about the fragrance then.

Gardinias all the way. Not only are they beautiful but the smell is just heavenly. It also happens to be my favorite flower, so I’m biased. 😉
