Attic? Basement? Top closet shelf?  I’ve never seen one on display at someone’s house or anything, so I assume people put them up somewhere and take it down every couple years to reminisce.

smilestorm:  LOL, oh ok!   A Christmas ornament sounds like a great idea. Very special and pretty.

smilestorm:  I just finished up my project. I have some wild flowers I dried and “plucked” and i put them in a decorative glass bottle that I glued shut. The first dozen roses he bought me I dried too. Most of the petals fell off but some heads stayed. I sprayed tgem with hairspray(I’m sure I read that somewhere) and placed the petals in a mason jar at the bottom and the full heads on top. I glued the lid shut(I had painted the lid) and tied a contrasting ribbon on it.

smilestorm:  Haha didn’t know you only meant to save a small bit, ignore my previous advice about a shadow box!

I put mine in a shadow box along with our wedding invite, program, ribbon wand, DH’s bout, etc.

smilestorm:  I took a few dried flowers and put them inside a clear glass ornament and used part of the ribbon wrap to tie a bow at the top. Id take a picture but it’s packed away until next holiday season.

smilestorm: I didn’t get a kit I just dried it at home myself. I took my bouquet a part as well and didn’t use/frame the whole thing – just the best blooms.

I actually do have the whole dried bouquet on display in our living room.  It’s in a vase next to a wedding photo. Of course we’ve only been married for a little over a year. I don’t know how long we’ll keep it up, but I like it for now.

I dried mine and put it a shadow box with a invitation and little nicknacks from my bouquet. It hangs in my living room with a shadow box of our handfasting rope and stuff from my bridal shower. 🙂
