I loved my bouquet it really added some colour to the pictures. It was a minor expense so I didn’t mind it.

A friend of mine used balloons instead of a bouquet – took some really cute pictures with it.

My bouquet was one of my favorite parts of the wedding!! I love flowers, so I can’t imagine going without one. I was sad that it didn’t last long. I put it in water after the wedding, but then we went off on our honeymoon. I am so glad to see it in the pictures.

I think they make pics look nice. We didnt have a big wedding we had a very small intimate ceremony but I wanted nice pics with flower details so I went with a smaller sized bouquet for $85.

laura1206 :  I just went to a wedding over the weekend. The bridal party wore artificial  (looked so real) bouts/corsage and as far as I remember the bride wasn’t holding anything. She did, however, make a small one with artificial flowers to toss for the bouquet toss. Do what you feel is right for you.

I had a bouquet and Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, and boutonierres for the guys. For the centrepieces my friends made them with fairy lights and some farmer’s market flowers. I ADORED my bouquet, it was so beautiful, and it added color to my outfit. The bouquets also doubled as the bridal table centrepieces (the venue set out vases).

I only had a bouquet for myself and my one matron of honor along with boutonnières and we made them all ourselves. We used succulents for our centerpieces. I LOVED my bouquet and still think about it. It added such a nice element to pictures and gave me something to do with my hands in a TON of photos where otherwise I think my hands would have been awkwardly at my side or in front of me. At the reception I put my bouquet down on the table with the card box and grooms cake and it looked lovely there and made for some nice detail photos. I wanted to take my bouquet to the honeymoon so I threw my matron of honors which was smaller so easier to catch.

I liked mine. Still waiting on the photos of it.  You dont need one and can carry something else as others have said.
