I really need some advice from the bees. I made this brooch bouquet that was supposed to look like blue petyl’s tuxedo bouquet, but it isn’t even close. My daughter says it is good, but I think it is too huge and has a weird shape. I am sooo thinking about doing it over. Here is a picture. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks for the heads up! That was my first post with a pic. I hope I got it right. If I can resize it somehow, please let me know!

@gardengirl1966: You’re welcome.
I think your bouquet is lovely.

@gardengirl1966: Can you take a picture of you holding it so we can get perspective of size? To me, it looks okay – but I’m not sure without someone holding it.

It looks beautiful to me! I can’t judge the size without a frame of reference though!

I think it’s a beautiful bouquet as it is. However, if you wanted to get closer to the Blue Petyl Tux bouquet, the brooches would need to be grouped closer together and away from the edges. The shape is fine the way it is, but the Tux bouquet does look more like a flattened half-sphere. I can’t say anything about the size without seeing it held by someone.
The question is how exact a match are you looking for? Like I said, it’s a gorgeous bouquet already, and I can definitely see how the Tux inspired it.

This is actually the best brooch bouquet I’ve seen. I’m ususally not a fan, but this looks nice.
