I was wondering what your bouquets costed you!
What did you pay for you bride bouquet? Bridesmaid? Where are you located(so that I understand the cost living in that area as that would affect the prices).
Im looking at bouquets with gerber daisies, roses, and spray roses, I was quoted $175 for the Bride.

I’ve seen quotes up to $300 for a bridal bouquet, and anywhere from $75-150 for BMs. (This is DC pricing, so tends to be on the higher end of things…but probably on par with Boston)

Wow! $300!! I’m sure it’s close to Boston pricing, in actually planning my wedding in IL so I expect it to be cheaper. I was quoted $175 and $95 for bridesmaids. Im just trying to see if I should bool with that florist or find another one. I’m in the process of getting other quotes but it’s hard being out of state!

In my area, the cheapest, most boring, basic bouquet with what was deemed “standard” flowers was $178.00. It was a standard medium size that could be used for the bride or BMs.
I don’t even really care for flowers.
I went an alternative way. I got custom made (cardstock and book pages) paper bouquets and boutonnieres on etsy. Five bouquets (mine being the largest and the BMs medium – the seller upgraded mine from a medium to a large since I was placing a larger order) and four boutonnieres for $174.00, plus shipping (total of $225.00). I love them and they’ll last forever and are a lovely keepsake!
Anyway, the moral of my post is to research the different bouquet options.

I had a bridal boquet of all ivory roses for $160 and the Bridesmaid or Best Man boquets were also ivory roses (with some random babys breath poufs due to a miscommunication) with double ribbon handles for $45. This was generally the going rate after I got 3 seperate quotes but I do realize I choose simple flowers.

@asianyoushi: Do you have a picture of your bouquet? I was told i used stock it would be cheaper, I wasn’t sure if I’d like it or not.

The pricing they gave you sounds about right, borderlining on the cheaper end for the area. I was expecting to pay about 25% more than I am for flowers.
Here’s my pricing. I’m in Chicago:
Bride’s Bouquet: $210
Bridesmaid or Best Man Bouquets: $80 each
Groom Bout: $20
Groomsmen Bouts: $15 each
Corsages: $25 each

This was a $150 bouquet. The toss “bokay” was $20. I got two wristlets for the moms which were $25 each and 3 pinned on boutonnieres for the dads and groom which were $7 each. This is Northern NJ/Southern NY pricing.
