I’m a very inexperience bride planning my own wedding and was wondering if bouquets have to match your colors? When I went to talk to the small town florist they immediately started finding flowers that fit in with my wedding colors (plum, lime, chocolate and ivory) even though I love, love, love succulents.
We’re having a smaller wedding outside at my great uncle’s house in the mountains of Tennessee. I have an ivory, lace dress and the girls are wearing plum lace dresses with cowboy boots. The aisle decor is lime and white topiaries that I’m diying so the wedding colors will be in the ceremony space. I’m in love with the bouquet below but it’s not at all what my florist has in mind.
Would you only have flowers that match? Or does it not matter?

I think as long as you have your colors in your bouquet, it will be fine adding some other accents! Maybe add a little more green and plum, but the picture is beautiful!

I didn’t have “colors” , but my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses were teale. Yeah, there are no teale flowers. So, I just chose flower colors I liked for my bouquet and made sure they did not clash. I loved my bouquet and it was exactly what I wanted….even tho it didn’t coordinate exactly.

@wisher558: I would possibly just try to throw a little bit of those colors in there as well. I see there is purple in there….maybe adding in a little of the lime green color….maybe a few of these mixed in as well
Beautiful bouquet….I can see why you want it! I love the texture of it!

Love that bouquet, and I think it will match! The purple succelents, ivory and green accents all help. I might nix the pink flowers and then it will match your scheme even more.

seems like a lot of mixed votes in the poll lol
I wish my florist wasn’t 13 hours away. Why I decided to do a destination wedding is beyond me! Thanks for your opinions ladies. I think I’ll email my florist and she what we can do!
