If I were engaged, I wouldn’t participate. I didn’t have one because hardly any of the women at my wedding were unmarried or not engaged.

Absolutely… the “definer” is SINGLE period.

The idea being that the one to catch the Bouquet is the NEXT ONE MARRIED.

uh no, it’s for the SINGLE ladies …

that being said, I went to my first wedding that wasn’t mine and I couldn’t join the crowd because I’m already married. have to say now that I’ve NEVER participated in a bouquet toss hahah!

our dj said he has done a few wedding where the catcher of bouquet was announced as next to be married or next to get pregnant which gave some of the married ladies a chance to join in if they wanted.

I hate the freaking bouquet toss sooooo much so I did NOT participate the last 2 weddings I was at and I was engaged.  People gave me a hard time and attempted to push me, but I ran and hid.  I f***ing hate that damn bouquet toss.
