there are tons of “alternative boutonnieres” out there if you google it. Personally I am doing some sort of paper flower ones, as I am doing paper flower bouquets as well.  I have no idea which paper flowers I will do for the bouts yet though, there are so many!

this bee made some cute ones out of sculpey:

my husband’s boutonniere for our wedding

I LOVE googling the alternative boutonnieres, there are so many potentials!  Does he have any hobbies or interests you can incorporate in?

mmmm now I will go start googling it again.  🙂

I let my husband pick out a brooch that fit his personality and what he liked.  Unfortunately it fell off on the way to the ceremony but we still got it in some pictures.

@MissNoodles: Look for a vintage corkscrew. They are lovely and they made small ones to travel with-about 3″ long

@mandb122:  I love that idea … if you can find a brooch that is appropriate OP.
