    We just did pocket squares.  Darling Husband hated all my suggestions and they were pricey so I was glad to have something off of my DIY schedule and something off of my have to pay for list.  In the end I loved how the pocket squares looked, clean and polished.

    Bouts are not a requirement.  You could make non-floral bouts (there are all sorts of neat ideas out there) or do pocket squares like tksjewelry stated.

    I like the idea of the pocket squares. It sounds very classy to me. I can understand how tulips might not work as a bout.

    I asked my florist to make something simple for our fall wedding.  My husband is an obsessed golfer and asked her to incorporate some tees, and then she just used some simple berries and leafs, as well as some curly willow.
