Bow tie effect, help

Those are so beautiful! You should definitely ask for real life photos – when I shopped for my oval I saw many 360º videos that looked great, but then in the pictures over a hand they did have a very noticeable bowtie effect.

I’ve just bought a marquise. I had to rule out about 80% of stones in the parameters I wanted because the bow tie was visible in stills and videos. Even so, I am still nervous to see it as I haven’t seen it in person and so it might still have one.

I would personally avoid if I could see it in a photo/video. But tbh you can only really know viewing it in person. So if you can view it in person it could be worth a shot?
