@asianbarbie: I’m not a fan of bow ties, so definitely ties.

My husband wanted to wear a bowtie to stand out – all our other guys wore regular neckties.

I thought about bow ties for dad but it never happened. It looks way cuter on the ring bearers. Dad got tie in the end and groomsmen got cravat ties

@asianbarbie: the guys went suit shopping this last weekend and all of them have changed their minds on wearing a tie. They all want bowties now! These guys are worse than girls!

I’m excited, I sent out what I want to the FBIL/Best Man and its a simple suit/tux with a black tie.
I love it b/c my dad got married in the same look to my mom 🙂

I think bow ties are so much more refined looking and just plain sexy! Our guys wore tuxes + bow ties. Our dads wore tuxes + long black ties to differentiate from the Groomsmen.

I think SO is wearing a tie and the guys are wearing bowties. I’m not really sure after last weekend I’m taking a break from talking about suits in general. It’s pretty much all going to be a surprise.

Glad to hear about the bowtie. It is classic and that is what goes with tuxes 100%.
