Anyone have pictures of their grooms/groomsmen in bowties but no vests? Fiance wants to wear bowties but not vests. I am okay with tuxedo ties and no vest but he says that will look too much like a suit. So…trying to imagine how this will look. Thanks!

I’m not sure of your intent. Will the guys be wearing a tux?
It is not uncommon to wear a tux without a vest, instead wearing a cummerbund.
From a blog post:
Single breasted: cover the waist with a vest or cummerbund
Double breasted: no need for cummerbund. You can wear a vest if you wish.
Because you do not wear a belt with tuxedo pants (they have no belt loops) men should wear a cummerbund or a vest to cover the waist of the pants.

I asked my FH, and he said “If he was smart enough to pick a ring for her, he’s smart enough to pick his own suit”.
I thought the male perspective was pretty good!
