Thats a lovely hairstyle! I could see a very simple single layer veil attached right below the bun. That would look very elegant I think. But it would look great without the veil too?

Also, holy crap look at those amazing cheek bones!

I like that style!  I’d say a clip on the side and veil underneath. Or a birdcage veil attached with a sparkly clip on one side.

simple and elegant. I think a birdcage veil would look great with this style

@foreverli14:  Love this hairstyle. Everytime I get box braids, top knots are my go-to look.

I think a birdcage might look a bit crazy w/a bun that high:

Then again…maybe not (at all):

I also think a hairpiece is a gorgeous way to style the bun, though, since it adds to the sophisticated elegance of the look:

@foreverli14:  I think if you’re keen for a veil than do both.  Just have the veil attach underneath the bun and the hair ornament at the top or front side.  Remove the veil for the reception. Best of both worlds πŸ™‚

@foreverli14:  Haha you’re welcome. πŸ˜€ I actually don’t really care for the veil under the bun look. Even though sophisticated elegance is the goal…

It unfortunately ends up looking quite the opposite.

And even if you wear your bun lower (so that it’s more in the middle of your head) would still look incredibly sophisticated. I don’t think you can go wrong with a bun since they truly embody chicness to me. As long as you feel like a queen on your wedding day, your husband seriously won’t know what hit him when he sees how beautiful you look. πŸ™‚
