Did any bees out there have boxed invitations?
I’m really love the idea, but hesitant about the postage cost (we are having 200+guests). What did it cost to mail your boxed invitations? If you have photos of your invitations, please share! 🙂

@arabesque: I just got one in the mail and the postage was $2.12 – I guess you’d just have to decide if $425+ on postage (that also doesn’t count the postage on the RSVP) is worth it.

Yes, box invitations can be very pricey to mail. We hope to be able to hand deliver some of them to friends and family we see often. Thank you for the reply! I guess they’re not as common as I thought!

My daughter’s cost $2.24 each to mail, in February of 2013. We hand delivered 110 of 150 invitations (250 invited), not to save on the postage, but because we didn’t want the post office to mangle them. Whatever wasn’t handed out in one-month, or we already knew were out of our area, were mailed. Between the parents of the bride/groom, the couple, and my mother and daughter/MOH, we saw 110 invitations worth of guests, within one month. RSVPs cost us nothing for postage – they were very successfully done thorugh the wedding website. 248 of 250 were received by 6 days before the due date.
