Sorry if there’s one already, I couldn’t find it.
Do you usually go shopping for Boxing Day? What kind of stuff do you get?
I’m not a fan of actually going on the 26th, although I have gone out to places that are less busy for specific things. I do go afterwards more often, but it usually isn’t a huge shopping spree.
This year, we got the typical stuff – TVs! Two of them, along with the mounts and then Darling Husband had to run out to get some tools to help get them up. We’ve been using a big boxy tv until this point, which has been passed around a few different people.

Normally my sister and I make the rounds of the malls on Boxing Day proper, but she worked that day so we went the day after. I usually buy clothes and shoes, she normally buys clothes and shoes. I don’t need any really big tech things (TV’s, computers and the like) and my sister doesn’t usually have the money for that.

@AB Bride: You’d have to pay me to go out on Boxing Day, especially when many of the same specials can be ordered online.

@julies1949: I’ve done the mall thing when I was younger on the 26th, and I feel the same as you. I only ever went because a relative wanted to go.
We were prepared to order the tvs online, but went to the store just to double check the prices and I needed to buy some meds anyway. In store they had better deals and the parking lot was actually more empty than it typically is on the weekend.

@AB Bride: I did it once, I think two years ago? I ended up standing in line at Walmart at like, 7:00AM with a few flash drives, and the line was so tightly packed that the guy behind me kept banging me in the back of the head with the corner of his shitty plasma TV. I gave up after that, hahah, but my mom always makes the rounds.
