I’m a sucker for older names, so I really love Issac and Michael!

@rbuchanan09:  From this list, I honestly really only like Isaac for a boy.  I love the name Payton, but I like it for a girl (I really like masculine names for girls for some reason).

I love the name Payton/Peyton, but for a girl. It’s not a very masculine name.

Out of these, Issac is my favourite

I know more than a few girls named Rylie, Payton and Perry.  It’s so weird Isaac made it on your list, three people that lived on my floor in college named their boys that!  It’s a great name, sounds good on a kid and an adult.

I don’t like Blaise, I can’t picture my boss  being named Blaise and taking him seriously.

The rest all are good boy names and man names.

The only name I like otheir these is Michael. This is from someone who prays I never have a boy because I would never be able to name them. Good luck :/

Isaac and Michael. The trend toward names like “Payton,” “Brayden,” etc., is just too feminine for my tastes. West? That’s a direction, not a name. Carson? I’m also not fond of the reinvention of last names as first names. Ryland is too unusual for my liking. I DO like the name John – but I still find it a little old-fashioned for this generation (names that are similar/have the same meaning in the US include Shane, Shawn, Evan and Ian. I like all of those).

Blaise? A little too over-the-top. I’d expect to encounter someone named that in a soap opera or action movie.

I like Michael – it is a very common name, though.

My nephew is named Weston so I’m partial to West 🙂

For some reason I can’t see all the options and I can’t vote! But of what I can see I like Isaac. I also like West, but for a middle name not a first name.

I have a friend that’s a teacher and has had a few blaise’s (or a version of it) come through her classroom. As the kids get older they tend to tease more with names like that. Not saying it will necessarily happen or can’t happen with the other names, but it’s something to consider.
