I prefer old fashioned names for boys. Michael, Patrick, Steve, Daniel, Todd….You don’t really see those names anymore…

My son’s name is Darby. Its not very common but is a bit of an old school name. In Aus alot of men back in the 60’s and 70’s were called Darby if their name was David.

I named him after my dads nick name. I wanted to name him after my dad (he is the first love of my life) but not directly.

If your into meanings, it’s irish meaning is free spirit
