So I was talking about one of my posts and I referred to the ladies that post on here as “Bees”. This is what ensued:
FH: “Uhh… What??”
Me: “Yeah.. It’s weddingbee so we call ourselves Bees.”
FH: “Oh. I thought I was marrying a woman. Apparently I am marrying a bee. Buzz buzz buzz.”
Me: (gave him a look)
FH: “Is there, like, a Beekeeper?”
Oh boys lol

lol I only refer to the other ladies as bees here on the Bee, not to Darling Husband when I talk about the Bee XD

I totally refer to everyone on here as “bees” too! Mr. D is used to it now, but definitely gave me weird looks when I first said it. When I became a blogger bee and got the email I was like “I’m a officially be bee!!!” and he was even more confused because he thought I already was a bee. I had to explain to him the difference between the boards and the blog. He still doesn’t get it, lol!

Yeah Darling Husband was asking if the things we did were … BUZZ approved. lol

One of my friends is on “the nest” and her hubs refers to the peeps on there as “her nester builders” lol

Haha! I’ve done this. I’m also beginning to speak in acronyms.
Me: Awwww! That’s so sweet!
Fiance: What’s going on in wedding world?
Me: Oh one Bee’s eff-eye got her a surprise trip to kick off tee-tee-see.
Me: Sorry. One of the ladies’ fiance got her a surprise trip to kick start trying to conceive.

@HisMoon: OMG I just did that like 10 minutes ago my Fiance looked at me like I was insane. Then he was all “I’m going to make you a hot dog because your hormones are making you crazy”.

FH “buzzed” at me last night. Just out of the blue. Looked at me and said, “Are you talking to your bees? Buzz buzz buzz!”

LOL I have yet to slip up, but I totally almost referred to someone as “her SO” today. Caught myself, but said “Significant Other”, and he still looked at me like I was crazy. I guess, even though I refer to him as SO not Boyfriend or Best Friend here, I only use “boyfriend”, “fiance” and “husband” when I speak.

@MexiPino: lol that’s what happened to me! I said it on accident and he thinks it’s hilarious lol

@MexiPino: I have to stop myself from saying “FH” in real life. It comes out easier than fiance, nobody gets what “my eff ayche” means.
