I love Gavin James Gross, it’s manly but not too mainstream and I don’t see a lot of crazy nicknames coming out of that combination. I knew an Andrew Gross, he went by Drew or Andrew.

Ian, Aaron and Owen were my top choices for boys’ names that we did not have an opportunity to use. I think any of them would coordinate well with your last name.

Some of the names on my list were Owen, Evan, Orson, Carson, Samuel, Benjamin, Dylan, Xavier, Nicholas, and Henry. I recently heard the name Eamon which I thought was pretty cool.

I’m in love with the name Murphy, as of late.  I think Murphy Emmerson Gross would be adorable!

I like the idea of longer, distinguished sort of name with Gross. Kennedy, Lincoln, Jackson, Theodore, Andrew, Jonathan. Ok, mostly Presidents apparently.

wineplease:  you’re the first person on here I’ve seen suggest Tanner! That’s my last name and I decided in elementary school that is what I would name my future son! And coincidentally his name will be Tanner James, so you basically suggested his name haha.

Gross is a very common last name where I grew up, so here are my male friends’ first names for consideration (I think they sound pretty good with their last name!):

FutureMrsGG:  Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚ ..But yeah, it felt like every suggestion I made was followed up with a “Well, there was this kid named xyz and he blah blah blah so we can’t name him that” haha..

On the other hand our girl name (Kathleen) was SIMPLE because it was my Grandmothers name and neither of us have ever met a Kathleen, aside from my grandmother of course.. We didn’t even bother thinking of other options because that was just IT for a girl for us lol

Sorry I don’t have any suggestions! Just wanted to let you know you’re not the only one! ๐Ÿ™‚

Good Luck in your search! I’m sure when you find the right name, it will just click!

Finneus…call him Finn ๐Ÿ™‚ That’s our plan if we have a boy! I know it’s a strange name and people will either have a love/hate relationship with it, but who cares…we love it.

I always loved the name Dean. When I had my last child if it were a boy that’s what his name would be, and if it were a girl her name would be Deana. ย We had a girl and that’s her name. ย

FutureMrsGG:  I ADORE the name Felicity! It was my top girl pick forever but we are having a boy. His name will be Cooper. Our runner ups were Duncan (family name) and August/Gus. Good luck to you!
