- Wedding: September 2012 - Southern California
For what it’s worth, my husband & Brother-In-Law both have a one syllable [& biblical!] first name, a one syllable middle name, & a one syllable last name & are still great names!

@JustMe12182: I am also a teacher and love the name Jack. Actually, Jackson but Jack for short. Since Jackson won’t go with my future last name (Hanson) I used it as the name for my new kitten!
Some boy names that I like are… Isaac, Matthew, Ryan, William and Christopher.

@JustMe12182: My fave is Jack, but I totally get why it’s out.
A few other ideas.. Parker, Zachary (Zach, Zachariah), Joshua, Liam, Landon, James, Michael, Jeffrey, Stephen (Steven), Matthew, Nathan (Nate, Nathaniel), Ryan, Daniel, Kevin, Theodore (Ted)?
ETA: What about Henry?

OOOh Justice of the Peace…that is what my parents call the dog too! lol (my mom calls him Jackson Pickett Burnside from the movie Mame)
We also like Allison but my parents said I can’t name a baby after a horse…my first horse was Ally. These animals are totally messing up my baby vibe!
