I’m not sure about Macy’s but I have never really gotten good service there.  Maybe try Dillard’s or one of the higher end department stores (not that you have to buy there).

I don’t really know of any other place than VS, but I do that they can give you exact measurements to the inch I believe. So it wouldn’t be to bad to just pop in there for that.

I highly recommend going to an independent lingerie shop.  I finally went to one a few months ago and found out that the size I was measured for at VS and Macys was totally wrong!  Like off by two cup and band sizes.  I am in a much smaller band size and bigger cup size and my bras have never fit better.

I am sure that partially the discrepancies in sizing are relative to the fact that at Macys and VS the sizing was done over my clothes and at the lingerie store the sizing was done just in my bra.  It makes a big difference.

I wouldn’t trust VS.  I’ve been measured all different places as a 34Dirty Delete and I can’t fit into their DDs to save my life.

I would say any higher end department store like Nordstrom or Bloomingdales.  Or a speciality independent lingerie store.  Or, if you live near an outlet mall, Maidenform.

Nordstrom tends to be awesome.

Nordstroms does a great job!  They were featured a few years ago on one of Oprah’s bra specials.

I agree that Nordstrom does a great job. The girl who helped my was really helpful and even brought me a couple different options to try. I was measured at a smaller band size and bigger cup size than I normally wear and my bras have never fit this well!
