I need some bra suggestions.
My dress has a shear lace back and I do not want any bra showing. I originally thought I would just get cups sewn in, but the seamstress doesn’t think that’s a good idea. She believes that I am too big (36DD) and that the cups will only add volume which I do not need.
She gave me two options, buy an adhesive bra or buy a strapless bra with a clear back. Can anyone recommend these types of bras? What have you used? I am not looking to add any volume/cleavage. I just want them where they should be.

Funny! Was just checking amazon for bra pads. They have many strapless, backless bras that could fit the bill for you! Stick to the ones with high ratings.

i was a 34F prior to my breast reduction in 2008. though i’m now a 34C, whenever i bra shop, i still in terms of support for my former larger chested self. when i was wedding dress shopping, lots of large chested throughts came back to me.
first, i think sewn in cups would would much better than an adhesive or strapless bra. when i was larger chested, neither adhesive or strapless bras worked for me at all.
my wedding dress was so sturdy in the front there was enough support for the girls. the sewn in cups were just like sewing a bra to your dress so it doesn’t move. if your dress is supportive enough, i vote for sewn in cups.
what is different between the cups and strapless bra? it is the same amount of padding?

ajillity81: I know that is what confused me, I really don’t think that there would be that much of a difference. I wanted to do the cups until the seamstress said it was a bad idea.
