I’m the same way. I’m 5’3″ weight always between 110-115 and I’m the same bra size. N people don’t believou actually a small bra size. And my undies are med. people think I’m small. It’s probably the Mexican booty. Lol

I find the majority of people wear too large of a bra themselves, so they make the same assumption about others. Before getting properly fit at a quality store (read: not victoria’s secret) I had been wearing 36C and it turns out I was really a 32D. The band size makes a huge difference. And the cup size gets slightly smaller as the band sizes go down (so a 36C is generally the same cup size as a 34D).

And obviously men have no idea what’s going on.

In a word: proportion, especially if you have a short torso. Just like a girl with a 32D bust might not look as busty as a girl who is a 34C, but volume wise it’s the same bust size.

I would get a bra fitting if you haven’t had one in awhile.

im 5’2 and 34D and with this weight im pushing a Dirty Delete. however i dont buy into that 36C is the same as a 34D, i can never fit 36C, i spill out of them.

I’m 5’3″ and 32E. I can fit into 34Dirty Delete, but it’s not as comfortable.

This is slightly off topic but related, but alot of women are actually wearing the wrong bra size – typically the band is too big and the cups are too small. There’s a great guide on reddit to how to size yourself properly, and a whole subreddit about it! I found it fascinatin – I used to wear a 34-36 C, but I actually measure 32DD-E (and this fits way better)

ETA: I think people are under misconception about what the letters of a bra size mean in real life – I may be an E-cup, but I have very average looking breast size! It’s just a function of the small band, and the difference between the band size and the cup size
