Oh, what a nice idea for a thread!

Um, my guy always without fail meets me at my car when I come home to help with anything I might be carrying. Also he makes sure the firewood is stocked up and ready because I love to make a fire in the fireplace when I get there. (I find it super relaxing to build a fire and do some fire-gazing.)

He also makes sure I have a latte at my breakfast plate in the morning and lets me lay in bed until I hear him steaming milk… It is heaven ๐Ÿ™‚

Fiance still goes out of his way to open doors fit me. He also REALLY listens to me. I say something offhand and he remembers it later. Oh yeah, he also loves feeding me and is willing to play my mmorpg with me.

So many, but the little things that stand out to me is always opening the car door for me and making sure I’m walking on the inside, away from cars, brings me treats he knows I love as a surprise, and putting the cover on my car windshield every night. I really could go on and on bc he is so good to me though!

He reminds me constantly to eat. I am seriously SO bad about food, I would never remember to eat if he didn’t tell me. I’ll be absorbed in work and he’ll just come over and put a plate of food down and be like “Eat this.” When we go to the store he will actually help me pick out lipstick colors, give input on things I am looking at (I’m a lipstick addict)… he even takes my bag so I can browse. Ok I have to go hug him now…

Recently, he’s always helping me up, picking things up for me, helping me put my snow boots on, making sure I have water and snacks, cleaning off all the dog feet when they come inside – gotta love that third trimester flexibility!

Outside of being pregnant, he’s always making me a cup of tea, opening doors, carrying in things from the car, getting the mail … usually things I really don’t enjoy.

I find myself often wondering how I got so lucky!

He always puts a nice cozy fire on for me when Im relaxing during the evening. It’s a pain in the bum to clean out the stove, bring in wood from our shed and to mind the fire for the night. On his own he wouldn’t bother but he does it for me! That, and making nice cups of tea ๐Ÿ˜Š

He’s been doing all our grocery shopping and cooking since I hate it. And he’ll always bring back a bouquet of flowers for me ๐Ÿ˜

He’s a good one. I think I’ll keep him.

SO is so awesome.  He always opens my car door and any other doors, wakes up before me and takes the dog out and shovels snow.  Remembers every little thing I say.

He’s just a kind and caring man and I feel lucky to have him in my life.

Ive been really stressed lately and made a comment about how I wish everyrhing could magically be taken care of before I woke up.

Last week, he woke up extra early to shower, walk the dogs, cook me breakfast and bring me coffee to wake me up. I had the best morning with him and even got into work a tad bit early!

Every morning he brings me a drink, sits by me, brushes my hair from my eyes, tells me good morning, I love you and I will call you soon. He then calls me about 15 mins later to make sure I’m up and getting ready.

My husband is always doing little sweet things. He is incredibly supportive of my weight loss journey but is also reminding me that I am beautiful how I am and this is about getting healthy not hating my body.

He will randomly pick me up small gifts (like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup which is my favorite) to surprise me.

He will do the dishes just because he knows I absolutely hate it!

Ladies, honestly, reading all of these – I feel like we all need to collectively decide something to do to show our appreciation. Like, are our men the best or what? I shall decide to be less of a PMS’ing monster today. I’m gonna try, at least. Best laid plans, and all that. As we speak, he’s outside taking the dog out in 4 degree weather while I stay on the couch under twenty blankets.
