amanda.417:  Awww that’s so sweet!!! I usually end up packing my FI’s lunch every morning after he starts heading for the door and I realize he doesn’t have one. He think’s he’s so sneaky and he’ll get to eat out if he doesn’t take one! haha

I was having a major anxiety attack doing the dishes one afternoon. For some reason when I have a ton to do, I get anxious. He came in the kitchen and I stopped mid wash and told him I was going to take a shower. He looked at me and said very plainly “are you starting to freak out?”. Of course I just said yea and walked away. He gets very annoyed sometimes when I get anxious because he doesn’t know what to do. He feels helpless, so he turns defensive. Anyway..

I take a nice hot shower and come out to Damien Rice (or something random and soothing like that) playing over the speakers. My Fiance is a musician and hates new music like that, so I asked him “what are you listening to…” and he says “I thought it would help you calm down.” I go over and sit down next to him and he had searched for “anti-anxiety mix” on spotify. I laughed, but I thought it was so sweet of him to do!

Very simple but very thoughtful.

amanda.417:  oh oh ill go!!! this will make me look like a whiny baby but Im pms’ing right now so I may have been a tad emotional.

I ordered this limited edition lipstick from the MAC rocky horror picture show collection last week. It sold out almost immediately but I was lucky enough to get the one I wanted. I was so excited. And I got free over night shipping. So the next day I waiting impatiently and it never came but when I checked the tracking, it said it had been delivered hours ago. So long story short, the messed up my address and it’s lost. Because it’s limited edition, and it’s sold out, my options for getting a new one are limited. I can get the lipstick but it won’t be the limited edition one I wanted. Ladies, I cried on the phone with the MAC lady lol. She felt so bad for me. it was a sad sight. Poor SO got a phone call right after that where I tearfully told him what happened. He doesn’t really care about my lipstick and I know he was trying to not laugh at how ridiculous I sounded. But he just calmed me down and then asked what was so special about it. I explained that it was a limited edition but that it was a color I was after for a little while now and i was just frustrated.

So over the weekend we stayed at a hotel for an oktoberfest event and while we were there we were laying in bed and he was scrolling through internet tabs on his phone. Well one was a mac screen. He tried briefly to make excuses as to why he had that site up but then just gave up and said “well you were so upset about your lipstick. so I went an ordered you another one since they messed up the first order. It’s not the limited edition one but it seemed like you really wanted that lipstick so I bought it for you”

So sweet! I am still emotional so I almost cried again over the stupid lipstick lol. He could give a rat’s ass about lipstick. But he went onto a make up site just to buy me the one lol

p.s. he did say afterwards “that site is weird. do girls actually do their make up like that?! cuz that’s just nuts. I wouldn’t like you very much if you did your make up all crazy like those girls on the site”

Mines not as romantic or special as yours but last week my boyfriend drove me to work because he was taking my car in for some work. He pulled the car up to the door (we live in an apt) and turned on my seat warmer, which I always do cuz I’m sleepy and chilly in the morning but he never does. And then after work he picked me up, he was right on time (he has issues with being on time for things) and had a pumpkin spice latte waiting for me. I just thought it was very thoughtful and it’s little things that make me feel lucky.

The other day I was feeling very dowwn on myself and after getting it together I walked in, he pulled me down on his chair with him and I told him I felt better. He asked, “Did you go look in a mirror?”. His sarcastic comment made me laugh and smile. Yup, thts my man. πŸ˜‰

Even though Fiance works from home, his job is very demanding and he’s usually in his office at least 12 hours a day and because of this, he hasn’t been too involved in the wedding planning.  This past weekend I was super busy with last minute wedding details and running errands that by mid afternoon, I was exhausted and took a nap.

When I woke up a couple of hours later, I found the load of laundry I threw in the wash before dozing off had been dried and folded with another load started.  I then came downstairs to the kitchen to find Fiance had gone to the grocery store and was cooking dinner!  This isn’t totally out of the norm, but then he said, “I’m cooking dinner and doing all the cleaning tonight so you can relax.  I just feel really bad that I haven’t helped as much as I wanted to during wedding planning, but I’m here to do whatever I can for this last week before the wedding.”

It was seriously one of the best meals he’s cooked, and we just talked about how excited we were about the wedding and joked around while iTunes radio played in the background.  Afterwards while I put leftovers away, I stood back to watch him do dishes while he was talking to our dog and making goofy faces at him, and in that moment, I just felt utterly happy to have this life with him.

Well since we’re in a LDR now it’s more about what he says than what he does aha. Just tonight, we were chatting and I was worrying about wtv thing, and he was like:

Fiance:  “You have funny ideas”

Me: **laughing at my own silliness** “Only you can find me funny saying stuff like that and make me laugh unexpectedly… that’s why you are the one for meee”

Fiance: “Bahah I smile everytime you talk, makes me happy no matter what you say”

awwww he’s too cute for words : )

I love him soooo much.
