We put together a practice centerpiece. We used real curly-willow type branches, and will paint them a shimmery champagne- added a lighted branch, some stalks of japanese lantern bush, and are going to add a bit of a lighter blossom, maybe even baby’s breath? They really look awesome lit up in dim light even though it isn’t lit in the picture (distorts the picture). Right now we have about $11 in each centerpiece, which we are thrilled with. We think we’d like the vase about 20 inches high, as that keeps the branches above eye level for conversation. Vases are pricey, and for now this is stuck in a sun tea jar lol (only 12 inches tall). We thought about finding large glass jars (think large pickle jars) or plastic commercial jars from a restaurant or school cafeteria, and cover them with eggplant colored fabric, and put a champagne colored bow/sash around it. (kind of like a foil-wrapped poinsettia pot). We have 35 round tables and thought we would use these for about 20 of them, and use a smaller one on the rest. We don’t want it to look like an orchard lol. Ceilings in the venue are very high. (kind of like a foil-wrapped poinsettia pot). What do you think? Any opinions?
