We just brought him home last night and i’m afraid he has to go back this am 🙁 The Husband is swelled up and can’t breathe apparently he has a really BAD reaction he wasn’t aware of :*( And i feel we can’t live like this. Its sad for me but my marriage comes first. 🙁 Anyone been through this?

I volunteer for a rescue group and unfortunately, I have seen this happen. Usually it’s with the children or perhaps a spouse and the family did not know since it was a first pet. Thankfully we take all our pets back and give the adopter a refund too in this case.
You can try breeds such as Poodles, Schnauzers, Wheaton Terriers perhaps?

This happened to me when we got two kitties. It was horrible I fell in love with them but after two days I knew I couldn’t live my life like that. I have always had dogs and they don’t bother me but the cats were another story.

My welsh terrier Dex is hypo allergenic…something to think about, too!

This is really sad, please talk to the breeder or store that you bought the puppy from. If they won’t take him back, try to place him in a friend’s home or a rescue group and explore all other avenues before taking them to your local SPCA, they are overrun with abandoned pets, especially around Christmas, your puppy might be destroyed if nobody adopts it within a short period of time.

I had a dog prior to meeting my fiancé. When we first moved in together he had awful allergies but overtime the allergies began to subside and he became used to her if that’s any help.
I agree with PP hypoallergenic dogs are great

Aww I’m so sorry to hear that 🙁
I have two dogs – one is a bichon yorkie and she is hypoallergenic. I’m allergic to dogs and I’ve always been totally 100% fine around her, same goes for my mom who is really really allergic to dogs.
I also have a puggle who I am allergic to and I did have issues when I first got him. Over time I’m fine with him now though.
