Congratulations!  You are one tough cookie! I have never heard of contractions like that before.  I am impressed with your stamina!

Congratulations!

When you started off with this

My birth story started the night of Saturday the 8th. After having dinner out, we came home and had sex (woo hoo!). After, I had a lot of cramping and spotting, but figured it was most likely due to the cervical exam I’d had earlier in the day. The next morning, I woke up to continued cramping, which got progressively worse throughout the day.  After having sex again, the cramping started to include contractions.

I swear I was about to yell at the computer “STOP  HAVING SEX!!!” if you mentioned it one more time.

All’s well that ends well.

@BrandNewBride:  Thanks for sharing your story! Your labor sounds incredibly painful and thankfully pretty short. You are a strong woman! Enjoy your brand new baby girl!

Congrats! I love the name, and for some reason your birth story didn’t traumatize me as much as I think it should have LOL.

Congratulations!!!! My sister delivered both her girls at SSH!! I was there for both, they are great there. I am at Beth Israel but might switch back to SSH when I move further south. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
