I really like that song.  I’ve been taking youtube dance lessons with the Fiance (and by that I mean twice) and that’s a good song for us to try and dance to.

I think that’s a really cute idea! It’s the little touches like this that make a wedding special, go for it! Especially bc you were named after it 🙂

It’s a nice song, but it’s about a couple that can’t be together, so I don’t know if it’s really all that great for a ceremony.  Might be more fun and more appropriate to play at the reception, when everyone can scream it and dance around you.

if you could edit the song down, maybe.. but the parts that are fun are fun, but non-chorus part kind of floats along, while usually you’d want something lively for the entrance.  Plus the chick in the song is sad and lonely!  I would pick something else, personally.

I think it’s cute!  I don’t pay much attention to the meaning of songs when it comes to stuff like this.  I’m dancing with my dad to the song I was named after, but it’s about a guy who fell in love with a girl but only got to hang out with her for one day.  Not exactly ideal for father/daughter, but my dad loves the song and he was the one who named me :o)

It’s a really cute idea, but I would be too paranoid about the whole them not ending up together in the end thing!  I agree, maybe it would be better used at the reception?

Hmm I googled the song, not sure if it’s the right one, but I’ve never heard of it … not really my style either.

However, I agree it is touches like these that make your wedding special.
