I hate bras 100% of the year, but I’m a C cup that swells at that time of the month, so bras are a must. If I’m feeling down about bras, I wear sports bras with no underwire. Forever21 has great colorful sports bras for about $10 with a tiny bit of padding (to prevent blinding any unsuspecting victim with–gasp! god forbid!!–my nipples). I have one in every color and I wear them all the time. They are good compromise for those of us who need a little more support than those bralettes (my friend with Bs also does that), but want to be comfortable and stylish. They look great when they show under my summer shirts, and they are completely unnoticeable in the winter when I still wear them sometimes because OMG I hate bras sometimes.

I hate bras too, and I also take it off as soon as I get home. I’m a pretty full c cup. I wear sports bras 95% of the time, even under work clothes. The only time I wear a “fancy” bra is when I’m dressing up for a night out with my Fiance. I also have some sports bras that have thin, almost spaghetti string straps that I will wear if a “normal” sports bra strap would show; they work under sundresses pretty well, and I’m one who won’t wear something if my bra strap shows. I don’t like strapless dresses (even my wedding dress has tank sleeves), so that’s not a problem for me.

Going braless isn’t an option for me, but yes, I hate it. I have already had a few clothing crises over finding the right bra that doesn’t show. I have two racerback bras, a strapless, and a zillion regular and I am constantly bothered by finding the “right” one. The other thing that drives me mad is the sweating. I live in a very hot, humid place – am I supposed to wash after every wearing? Should I just go buy some crappy bras for the summer so I don’t ruin all my nice ones with sweat, sunblock, and washing? Argh.

missythename: You may want to make sure that you are wearing bras that are the right size and invest in higher quality ones. It’s amazing how many women squeeze into bras that are too small. As someone who wears a D or Dear Daughter I’m actually more comfortable wearing a bra than not. I find my back starts hurting if I don’t have the support and I’m paranoid about saggy boobs lol. I’m usually careful about buying shirts that won’t show my bra or wearing a bra that matches. Honestly, I notice when someone isn’t wearing a bra more than bra lines.

Our engagement party was yesterday. It was outside and hot. My dress is backless, and I’m a D, so I wore one of those backless sticky bras. It sweated right off. Thankfully I could feel it happening, but I almost flashed all of my family and friends. Yeah fuck bras

Bras are the worst at all times of the year. I’m a G/GG I’ve started to find bras that have a ‘j-hook’ where the straps can be hooked together for racer back tops. All of my sports bras (Panache brand) have them and 2 of my bras do too. Before that I used a ‘bra genie’ on my regular bras to get the straps together for racer backs. I rarely wear tube tops or strapless dresses but the dress I’ve decided on for my wedding next July is strapless so I’m investing in some bandeau swim suit tops and tube tops to avoid stupid tan lines. I hate my bra straps showing so I buy tops that fit or arrange myself so it won’t show.
I always have to wear a bra because I sweat a ridiculous amount and longer than an hour without my back/neck start hurting. I think in my 30’s I’ll get a reduction so I can be the C cup I’ve always dreamed of lol.
Good luck with your ladies, ladies 😉

1) Get clear bra straps for any bras that have removable straps.
2) Invest in lightweight tank tops in a variety of colors to layer underneath any tops that would show straps. sure its another layer but it will also provide a piece of clothing to absorb sweat. In certain situations, I think bra straps showing looks trashy, in my honest opinion.
That being said, Darling Husband thinks its sexy when my bra straps show. To each their own!!!

I hate being braless. It feels uncomfotable for some reason.the only time i go braless is when i go to sleep. However from reading other people comments,it seems like i might be one of the few people that hate being braless

I’m a Dear Daughter. I hate going braless unless I’m sleeping, but I also really don’t care if my straps show, especially in the summer – that’s kind of the trend now anyway.

missythename: i hate bras. I thought i was the only one and I hate to admit that, i dont know why but im embarrassed when i admit that i hate wearing bras but i know i need to lol.
im only a B cup but i just find bras so uncomfortable. I started wearing wireless bras from Victorias secret. Then I got pregnant so my regular bras were fitting right so I went and bought some maternity bras, ans you may want to consider, even if you are not pregnant bc they are so comfortable!!!! When I tried it on I told the sales woman “wherebhas this bra been all my life” she laughed and said i know, i wear them on a regular basis and im not pregnant. And even when its hot, it doesnt bother me!

- Wedding: A restaurant on the beach
I’m an A cup and I stopped wearing bras last years. I don’t need support so what’s the point? I don’t care if my nipples are visible but I do occasionally wear little silicon pasties. They stick to the skin and are reusable so they are perfect for wearing under summer tops. I think that if you hate bras you shouldn’t wear them. Screw what others may think, you should be comfortable!

Brielle: It’s not that it will necessarily show it just an extra weird feeling. I am not that paranoid about it showing it is just that I already hate one and then I am all happy and cool talking with someone at the grocery store and suddenly see my bra doing his thing and I am like ”oh no again with this ”..lol..It is just not fair haha

I hate bras… ugh. My mom is blessed being a Dear Daughter cup AND I’m also blessed with a smaller cup so I can go bra-less if I want. The times when I have to wear a bra I count the hours till I can take that contraption off.

Im a 32F,FF or G depending on my weight. I used to hate bras…and after years of hating them I went to get a professional fitting and it turned out I’d been wearing completely the wrong size bra for years (36D). Now that Im wearing the right size,I LOVE my bras. Theyre comfortable,so much so that I dont even notice them,sexy..an asset to any outfit. Get a variety of colours and styles and mix and match. If you hate your bra, youre wearing the wrong bra. If youre a C cup, there’s no excuse 🙂 get a professional fitting and hit the shops.

Braless is not an option for me (except at home, where I never wear one), but I LOVE convertible bras that you can re-hook as regular, racer back or one-strap! I have a few from Victoria’s Secret and wear the heck out of them in summer! I also wear tank tops under pretty much everything and all of my dresses have those little fabric loops with snaps that you snap your bra strap into so they don’t come creeping out of your dress. If I were a better seamstress, I would attach those loops to everything I own! Total game changer!
