I’ve gone from an A/small B to a full C in just the first trimester–I think it’s different for everyone!

Thank you for posting this!  We are currently TTC and I have a full D cup.  My only friend thats been pregnant is the same size as me – but she couldnt tell me how much she actually grew because she just wore sports bras all the time.  Im worried they are going to become GIANORMOUS!

    I’ve gone from a 32(barely)A to a 32C, and I’m only 15 weeks. Having boobs is surreal!

I started out as a 32B & instantly grew to a 32D in the first few weeks. After that they’ve slowly grown. I’m now 20 weeks & slowly spilling out of my 32DD’s. o.O Dear lord! What will I do when my milk comes in?!

You need to add “0” to your poll.

I was a 34A and am now 36 1/2 weeks pregnant and wearing a … 34A. They’ve filled out a little but nothing that would require me to buy new bras.

My boobs were my second pregnancy symptom. They’re huge. I started out at about a 32DD, and I have no idea what they are now. I bought 34DDDs, and they leave marks on my boobs (actual boobs, not underboob). I think they stopped growing around the start of my second trimester, but I imagine that when milk comes in, they’ll explode. My husband is quite certain they’ll explode, actually, and often comments about my “nursing nipples.” Ah, pregnancy.

This is scaring me! I am currently 24w2d and though I was 38dd prior to pregnancy, they haven’t grown enough for me to need new bras yet. I am concerned what will happen once the baby is born tho 😐

This definitely varies between people. I started off as a 34B and now I’m a 36C in the same brand/fit. I’m currently 34w pregnant. So I’ve only had to buy new bras once this pregnancy and stick with the same brand/fit. Since I’ll need a nursing bra for the hospital and the first week, I bought the ones that come in S/M/L (rather than specific sizes) and when my milk officially comes in, I’ll go in for another fitting to get the nicer, size specific ones.

@razzzzzz:  I was wearing a 36C until yesterday (21w) when I finally gave in and bought a new bra in a 36D because I was majorly busting out of my old ones. Some of the other January ladies have gone up 3 sizes already. I have a feeling I’m not done growing.

They say you can go up 2 cup sizes when your milk comes in, so it might not be a good idea to buy nursing bras this early in the pregnancy.

ETA: I was technically a 32E before, but I hate spending all that money on a single bra so I just buy what fits me. They were big before, but that didn’t stop them from growing!

I’m a 32G (not as big as you would think but just big due to my waist size) and my boobs have not grown at all (I’m 19 weeks). Just as a side note to those ladies with bigger busts, they don’t always grow during pregnancy if you had a lot to begin with.

@razzzzzz:  buy one that fits you right now… I know, annoying, but when you breastfeed, you’ll   also need bras of all sizes to fit you through the different stages.

i went from 34B to 36C during my first pregnancy. When my milk came, i went to 36D. Then, after a while and still breastfeeding, down to 36C again, then 34C and back to B when all was said and done.

i’m now 36C and D, depending on the bra and due in 5 days, so i’ll probably have to buy another bigger bra once the milk comes.. I’m sure glad I have all sizes to accommodate me now and won’t be throwing anything away until it becomes too large for me (since we’re done having babies).

It’s worth getting measured. I was surprised to go from a B to a DD by the second trimester. Think it’s stabilized but I’m expecting to have to adjust my sizing when the milk comes in. And I didn’t gain a ton of weight either. Very weird.
