    Well…I went from a 38C to a 42E by the time my milk came in. So, yeah, it can change a whole lot!

    Oh geez.  I’m a C, definitely not looking forward to being a DD+ when pregnant/nursing!

    I went up a cup size in the first trimester and another in the last. when my milk came in I went up another 2, but quickly went down 1, so in total I went up 3 cup sizes until they went back to normal when my daughter was around 9 months old.

    @razzzzzz:  I started at a 32D, and am wearing a 34DD at 18 weeks pregnant.

    I’m also scared of buying new bras! I think I’m going to get another 34DD bra for pregnancy, and a couple of 34DDD nursing bras to accomodate milk!

    I was a 34A before, and went up to 36C during pregnancy. I bought 3 new bras in that size during pregnancy including a nursing bra, which was really comfortable. I get even larger when I’m full of milk, probably up to a D cup, but I haven’t worn regular bras at all while breastfeeding. I just wear pullover lounge bras that are stretchy, and I wear cotton nursing pads with them because I leak all the time (even now at 9 months PP). Nursing bras are too much of a hassle to clip and unclip, I just pull my bra down and readjust when I’m done, it’s really easy. I have 2 pullover bras and I also wear tank tops with the built-in bra and do the same thing. If you do this just make sure they have stretchy straps.

    ETA: nursing bras are built with stretch, and they’re way bigger than regular bras. I would buy them in your pregnancy size. Reason being that your breasts change in size a lot when you’re nursing depending on how much milk is in them, so you want them to fit well when you’re empty. They’ll stretch to accomodate when you’re full of milk.

    2 and counting. I am only 11w3d so who knows how big they are going to get. I started out as a 34E, so I hope they don’t grow too much more.

    @razzzzzz:  I got a few from Target years ago before I was pregnant. (They’re super-stretchy!) Gap has some great pullover bras that are super comfortable too, but they don’t have elastic straps which is a bummer for breastfeeding.

    Also, if you get nursing bras, definitely don’t use ones with underwire. They cause clogged ducts and I don’t think they’re as stretchy and comfortable as wireless. Not all nursing bras are stretchy; the ones that are generally come in S/M/L sizes instead of normal bra sizes.

    I have to admit, reading all of this really scares me! We will be TTC next month, and I am already a DD right now. Undecided   Yikes…

    @razzzzzz:  my boobs didn’t change much while pregnant the last time. This time I’m outgrowing my Cs already at 10 weeks..::you really need to worry about when you start breastfeeding…..I was busting out of DD and I’m normally a small C..

    I’m on the same boat. I was a 32B before and at almost 16w I’m a 34D. I got one new maternity/nursing bra and fill it out quite well. I was told to buy a new bra with some extra space to grow. I got this bra when I was 13w and it had some space. I’m scared that they will keep growing as the pregnancy progresses. It’s bad enough that none of my nice pretty bras fit but shirts don’t either.

    Change that – at 15w2d I’m definitely no longer fitting in my Cs. I’m up from a 32(barely)A to a 32D!

    At 11w4d I’ve already gone from a 34b to 34c. I gave up and just wear sports bras. I didnt want to spends tons of money on new bras only to outgrow them soon.
