We got a Scott Kay Cobalt ring for my Husband. He says it’s very comfortable. It’s a great metal. The only information we were able to find about it was on the Scott Kay website. My husband loves it!

My husband has a Scott Kay Cobalt ring too.  He has huge fingers and also wanted an 8mm band so that requires a lot of metal and we just didn’t want to spend the money to get white gold or platinum.  He likes his ring a lot.  We couldn’t find much info on the metal either but so far he’s really happy with it.  It has held up well (no scratches, discoloration, etc) and is comfortable for him to wear with no irritation to the skin.  Also, it can be cut off unlike some of the other newer metals on the market which was a bonus for his line of work.

Brawn Cobalt can be cut off a finger with no issues.  I hate to have lost my wedding band, but I bought one at Kay jewelers and had a bad reaction to shrimp and my finger started to swell up like mad.  The hospital got it off in a few minutes and told me they know about cobalt and use it for bone replacements.  Anyhow, Kay.com is sending me a free band after I explained my story.  Forget tungsten by the way, my best friend was married in it and it broke when he dropped it in the shower.
