I don’t find it THAT painful, just make sure you get someone who knows what they’re doing! I went to a place in FL (expecting they woudl be better at it since its hot there almost ALL year long), and they were AWFUL!
I know ppl say do advil and stuff but I never found it to be THAT bad. Your skin may be really irritated, but just put some aloe on it, and you’ll feel fine by the next day.

Yea, I actually felt fine as I was walking out the door. The pain only last a few seconds each time. I could only tell my top half was numb when I touched it. But that’s all. I just moved so I need to find another salon that has hard wax 🙂
I took my underwear all the way off. She had a very small towel (looked like a wash rag) over me as she came back into the room but removed it once she started. I just laid there and didn’t watch her. It was more comfortable for me not to see all my junk laying out in the open 🙂

So ok, I’m at work, and I’m too afraid of googleing it. But a Brazillian wax, is well…..everything right?? like inbetween every like crevasse and crack? haha no pun intended…..

I have never done a brazillian, but done a good bikini (or everything but a landing strip) multiple times.
Landing strip is actually a true Brazilian

@kperry3: I had a shot of tequila before I had my first and realized it wasn’t really that bad at all.

Laughing out loud at your visual!

@kperry3: I had a shot of tequila before my first one … and it was magic. The “no alcohol before a tattoo” rule has to do with thining of the blood. You bleed much more when you drink and it efectively ruins a tattoo.
