Yes, it hurts, but it’s not unbearable. And it only hurts for some seconds. And it’s sooo smooth. Personally I’m totally smooth for a little over a week, but what grows out is so much softer. But I must admit that I haven’t tried it for three years now, but I plan on bookin an appointment this week and then again do it before the wedding.

I have red hair – which should mean that I have a higher pain tollerance (look it up)… When I went it took like 10-15 good pulls to be completely bare the first time… only 4-5 of the REALLY hurt… the rest were not bad at all, I think that once you get started your body tries to ignore that area pain wise.
my advice: GO! try it! worst case you have to stop mid-way…. but dont go the day before any big events… go like a month early, so you can see how your body reacts and still have enough growth to go again before your big day.

First time I went to a Korean salon in NYC: Fine
Second time I went to a place called UniK Was (a chain): Started to cry, bruised for days.

I am a frequent brazilian waxer and it is totally worth the pain! I agree it is more painful the very first time, as you arent sure what to expect and seriously the positions are kind of surprising for the first session…..
I get front to back done and if you have a fast, knowledgeable esthetician do it, they wont have to go over any areas twice…which is the worst for sensitivity! It is awesome if you are going away afterwards and wont have to worry about hair down there while in a bikini or special outfits for your new husband 😉
Definately do it, the wedding is the perfect time!
