Oh my goodness…LOL I’m scared to get one now! I’ve never had a brazilian wax…

I have a question for you ladies. How long do the results typically last?? And how much does it typically cost?

Thanks!!

Ok, I started getting brazilians at the beginning of this year. The first was BY FAR the worst. It made me decide to ALWAYS get a brazilian on a regular schedule so I NEVER have to go through that again. My appointment is like, set in stone. It looks great though!

That being said, Aleve 30 min-1 hour before helps. So does the numbing cream–seriously worth whatever they charge. My girl does a great job, but it still hurts. It’s only 20 min or less of your life though. For me, the worst is the part normally covered by the front of your panties–the other parts aren’t so bad. And surprisingly the butt crack really doesn’t hurt at all.

Side note… I’m 7 months pregnant and I can’t take aleve anymore. Tylenol doesn’t do jack and my skin is more sensitive now… and my hair grows a ton because I’m taking prenatals or something. So it’s still not that fun right now, but nothing was as bad as the first appointment. 🙂 You can do it! it feels so much better than shaving, believe me!

@PinkElephants21:  Mine lasts about 3 weeks before you notice hair if say, you’re wearing a swimsuit. I go every 4 weeks. The first few sessions, she recommended different stretches of time to get the different cycles of hair growth.

I pay $60.

Honestly, in January I’m thinking about saving up for laser treatment because it is pricey.. might as well do something that lasts longer

@PinkElephants21:  How long it lasts depends on your hair growth…lame answer I know 🙂 But the growth period lessens the more you wax. I go about every 4 weeks. I pay 55.00 for a full brazilian (front and back). My salon was rated as one of the best in the city from Allure magazine and they are one of the cheapest places where I live. I would use yelp! to find a good place near you.
