It might be a little more painful

i would try to reschedule for before your period. I epilate and on my period it hurts a heck of a lot more than normal! Especially if you’ve not done it around that same time before and if it’s only a few days before your wedding I would rather not risk it.

Have you ever had one before?  I think getting your first ever Brazilian wax that close the wedding regardless is a bad idea, but add the other issue in the mix and I say reschedule.

I’ve done it before (trying to time the wax before vacation, wedding, etc) and really didn’t notice any difference pain wise and my wax lady didn’t seem to mind.  We were actually laughing about it during the appointment.  As long as you’re wearing a tampon, I really wouldn’t worry about it!

I would call your waxing gal and ask her whats best. Why don’t you get it the days right before your period? It will still be a bit more sensitive and tender but in the end it might be best for all parties Tongue out  If you don’t want to reschedule or go the days before your period I would get an in depth wax!

It’s supposed to hurt more around that time (though it always hurts me a lot, so I doubt I’d really notice a difference) but I just think it’s kind of gross to go while you’re ragging.  If I were the waxer, I’d be a little pissed – sorry!!

I’m sure they deal with this all the time.  That being said, this whole thing that “It will hurt more”, that is a hoax, and I really don’t believe their is any truth to that.  Best to call ahead, I’m sure it will be fine.  Just make sure it is not your first wax down there ever…..just in case you have a reaction!

I’ve done it before and I haven’t really felt a difference.  I have also gone to the same waxing girl for 8+ years so I feel VERY comfortable with her.  When it has happened I let her know to make sure she doesn’t have an issue with it…and she says exactly what you did…just push the string up a little.  I can see by your wedding date you probably don’t have time to reschedule.  Worst case scenario you keep your underwear on and just get a regular bikini wax!
