I’ve been a big fan of the Brazlian for a few years now.  This may be Too Much Information, but I do mine myself and it’s pretty easy to maintain.  It’s just a personal preference.

I wax most, more than a bikini wax, less than a brazilian.  I used to do everything, but it was not worth the pain and irritation.  I have a high pain tolerance, but if I do everything it gets very irritated and swollen for a few days – doing most but leaving the worst there barely bothers me though.  I also cannot shave without serious irritation – red bumps, itching, pain.  I guess it just doesn’t bother some girls as much, but for me shaving everything is pretty much not an option.  (I’ve also had  my gynocologist warn me off of shaving. Can’t remember if she warned me off waxing, too, though.)

Honestly I don’t shave other than keeping what’s down there trimmed really short…it’s a pain in the ass and hurts when it grows back, at least for me.  My Fiance assures me he could give a shit less if I have hair down there or not…and I’ve told him that if he wants anything done other than trimming down there he knows where the razor and shaving cream are.

I shave everything about twice a week. Luckily I don’t get any pain or irritation, so it works out just fine.  I know my Boyfriend or Best Friend prefers it shaved, but since I do too, it hasn’t been an issue.  He did say that he wouldn’t mind if I grew it out as long as I didn’t let it become a forest. lol. If I ever decide to let it grow, I would definitely keep it trimmed and tidy.

I voted for all there, but I get a bikini wax (with shaving between waxes) during bathing suit weather.

@Boston Bee…Yeah, despite the fact that I don’t shave the hair off, trimmed in necessary…who wants a forest between their legs…it’s so simple to do it….you just buy a man’s beard trimmer LOL.

@karatechick27: I’ve never really found that mine gets in the way, maybe it’s curly enough to stay put?!

I wax it all off about once every two months. I can’t shave, my skin freaks out, possibly from the metal? But I use the Sally Hansen Brazilian Wax kit. Hurts like a bitch, but I usually try to ease into it with wine or advil or both.

I left a little bit in the front but the rest was lasered away. I love that it requires practically zero maintenance!

I pretty much stick with using Nair. However, I will be getting it lasered off next year.

I am an “all there” kind of girl who keeps it trim and tidy… I don’t look down on people who opt to get rid of hair, but personally I don’t like it…. it makes me feel like a little girl.
