I love the Twilight series and was truly looking forward to the seeing the last installment, Breaking Dawn pretty much just to see Bella’s wedding look. I feel sad to say that I was kind of disappointed after all of the hype online and in magazines. Is it just me?

I feel the same as you. In fact I feel disappointed in the whole movie.

I LOVED the shoes, and her hair clip, but other than that.. meh

I STILL haven’t seen it! But, from what you guys say, I shouldn’t expect much out of the wedding scene? I know it’s different from the book because in the book they get married in the house. On the movie trailer, I see them getting married in the woods.

I liked parts of it, but overall I think she just looked too skinny. Likely sickly almost. She’s a tiny girl already and I’m pretty sure she lost weight for this movie. I think that I would have liked the dress more had she looked like a woman in it, rather than a 13 year old girl, which made the whole thing kind of awkward.

@faye0314: I think she lost weight to look super creepy in the birth scenes…I’m totally serious. And it was creepy how her legs looked.
I agree, I’m sort of “It was pretty.” But not “OMG THAT WAS AMAZING LET ME FALL ALL OVER MYSELF.”
I will say I was impressed that they finally got Edward’s makeup right and he actually looked handsome rather than creepy.

I think the cermony was gorgeous. I really did.

I loved the whole scene. Yes I teared up a bit when she was walking with her dad. The dress was ok… I loved everything else. The wedding was so romantic and Edward is sooo gorgeous! Swore to myself I would never get sucked into the stupid Twilight thing but got super bored last year and read all the books and loved them! I had to watch the movies. Fiance likes them kinda. “Just for the action” he says! He took me to go see this the weekend it came out:)

I haven’t seen the movie, and don’t care to, but I was interested to see her dress. Which I did not like at all.

Finally saw it last night and I must say I liked her dress, hair, clip etc. However I actually didn’t care one bit for the shoes. I just could have done without all the facial shots and her overly dramatic nervousness; a little overplayed.

the actual wedding, i loved. i cried the whole time. the ceremony was beautiful, Edward was beautiful, Jacob was hot. okay, but seriously, i loved everything and everyone. As for Bella’s dress and hair, i voted it was okay. i wasn’t that disappointed though. i knew the theme was supposed to be early 1900s and so her dress was not my style. I was not so hyped up for her look as much as i was for the fact that they were getting married and going on their honeymoon – and with that i was NOT disappointed at all!
oh and i did love her shoes!

@Willow1991: yeah, some how it pulled me in for a good part of the movie and then ending just made me even more upset. LoL

@dynamic_duo: Aww I have to admit that I found myself tearing up a little bit watching the wedding scene. Home my Future Sister-In-Law didn’t think I was crazy but good point. I was excited for the movie because of the Bella and Edward were getting married.

I LOVED the dress she is in when she is dreaming, but the actual dress she wore for the wedding I hated!! All the flowers, greenery and the tree trunk pews were AMAZING though.

I really didn’t like Bella’s wedding dress at all. I like the style and look of her “nightmare” dress way better than the actual dress.
I thought there wasn’t anything special about her hair or makeup thought it was kinda plain. The veil and clip was nice. So I wasn’t impressed.. And they did focus too much on the nervousness..
The ceremony and reception decor was gorgeous though I really liked that. The woodland/flower/outdoorsy look was really nice. Like Charlie’s speech though 🙂
