Splurge For sure. However, talk to the photographer and let him/her know that you are on a tight budget and try to to get some things thrown in (engagement photos, rights, free picture.) I had my bossy friend go with me, and she persuaded the photographer to give me more of a value. For example, engagement photos were only included in the more expensive packages, so he threw that in for me. And 3 photographers were only included in the more expensive packages, so instead of 2 photographers he bumped it up to 3. I’m from VA, I would be happy to give you his name! Let me know!

Oh oh and a heads up, plan to have a little cushion in your budget, because I can promise you this is not the only time this is going to happen! Somewhere to cut some cost if you haven’t already thought about it, is to DIY invitations. I used cardsandpockets.com. Try and have minimal flowers, I’m using all lanterns that I got on sale at pier one for my center pieces. Oh, and always search for a coupon code online before you purchase ANYTHING! Retailmenot.com usually has some pretty good ones! Hope this helps
